Bloomington, Ind — The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce recognized Custom Construction Building Services, Inc, Regency Consolidated Residential, LLC, Cairril.com Design and Marketing, Inc, and Duke Energy as the newest recipients of the Green Business Bloomington designation. These four businesses have been recognized for consciously and consistently incorporating sustainable business practices into their daily operations and committing to reduce their impact on the environment. "The Chamber is proud to recognize these businesses for achieving the Green Business Bloomington designation,” says Morgan Hutton, director of advocacy at The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce. “As the program grows we’re seeing more and more innovative practices by local businesses to increase sustainability and reduce waste across different business types and industries. Each of these four businesses is very different, but they are all working to promote green business practices.” Green Business Bloomington is an environmental recognition program of The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce that encourages members to formulate goals and a plan of action that will help move businesses down the path to environmental sustainability. In addition to a recognition program, this is to serve as a guide to educate businesses on actions they can take that will both improve operational efficiency and reduce the impact on our environment.
