At Indiana Living Green, we believe that all of us have an obligation to contribute to the health of our planet.

Lynn Jenkins believes that everyone can make a difference in nature, if we each do small things and work toward larger efforts.

Since she was a kid, decades ago, Lynn has enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing and, over time, just being in nature. She has gardened organically "forever," just because it never made sense to her to throw chemicals on things you'd put in your mouth! Although her huge veggie garden has shrunk and is now limited almost entirely to tomatoes, she still tends wildlife gardens for birds, butterflies and pollinators. She is a Habitat Steward Host for National Wildlife Federation, past editor of Hoosier Organic Gardener, the newsletter of the Indiana Organic Gardeners Association www.gardeningnaturally.org.

Lynn's interest in sustainable living has expanded from simple recycling and wildlife gardening to encouraging others to appreciate nature and do what each can to protect the environment. The creation of Indiana Living Green comes from her belief that most individuals have an inner desire to do what is best for our environment, and that each little act does make a difference.
